Longacre MB is an equestrian facility run by Raquel Batto, located in Bridgehampton South with state of the art stables and infrastructure. It offers boarding, lessons for all ages and levels, summer pony camp, Horse shows and special clinics for advanced students.

Raquel Batto

Raquel Batto is a USHJA Certified Trainer with veterinary degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a post graduate degree in Equine Breeding and Nutrition. She was born in Entre Rios, Argentina and started riding at a very young age.  She competed successfully at high level show jumping events in the USA and Argentina, where she won the Junior National Championship. When Raquel arrived in the USA she trained with gold olympic medalist, Joe Fargis and other top US trainers. She has a deep understanding of horse health and wellness and is an experienced barn manager.  

Raquel has more than 20 years of experience in training horses and in teaching students of all ages and levels of experience. She has completed the United States Hunter Jumper Association trainer certification program, placing her in a small, elite circle of professional trainers. Raquel focuses on teaching the fundamentals of equitation, as well as horsemanship. She enthusiastically shares her passion for horses with her riders and builds their confidence both on the horse and on the ground. Raquel excels at teaching students how to connect with their mounts, and she strives to instill a love for horses in each rider. Her students have won top honors at many levels in the equitation, hunter and jumper divisions. She has trained winning riders from the Hampton Classic Horse Show to the Winter Equestrian Festival.

Boarding

Short Term Board

We provide full service board.  The facility is state of the art. The footing in the ring is the best quality, with very large stalls and beautiful paddocks for turn out.

Programs

Junior & Adult Program

Private and group lessons are offered with our experienced and professional trainers for all levels. Our students learn to ride and the responsibility of horse care from experts.  Developing and nurturing strong riders is our priority.

Youth  program

We offer private and group lessons after school on weekdays as well as on weekends for students at all levels and ages.

International Riders Program

We offer a showmanship and horse training program for international riders. We teach them to master and improve their riding skills and give them an opportunity to compete in New York and Florida at the Wellington International

Our horse show mission is to provide each rider with the opportunity to set personal goals and meet challenges with thorough preparation from entry level to the highest rated national competition.

Summer 2023 Pony Camp

A child who rides has a passion for life- join us at Longacre MB for a summer to remember! Our students focus on safety, basic position and the fundamentals for a life time of riding.

Longacre MB Pony Camp offers eight weekly sessions starting, June 20, 2023. All instructors are skilled, friendly and have several years of Pony Camp experience. Campers will meet Tuesday through Friday from 9am to 1:00pm, with extended hours available. All riding levels welcome, with limited spaces  available. Beverages and snacks will be provided.

Some Pony Camp Activities:

  • Learn how to groom your pony

  • Picnic with the ponies

  • Clinics with guest trainers

  • Make your own horse treats

  • Learn basic equine first aid with our vet

  • Grow organic carrots for your pony

  • “All about braiding”

  • Horseshoe picture frames

  • Farrier and Horse Nutritionist workshop

  • Fun Fridays: On/Off Horseback Games, bareback trail rides and more!

Pony Camp Fees:

Students sharing stable pony - $1,400 per week

Students leasing or using their own pony- $1,200 per week

*A two-week minimum is required to maximize learning experience (need not be consecutive.)

**All weeks selected must be paid in advance. ***Credit card on file is required .

Horse Shows:

Weekend horse shows will be offered throughout the summer along with the Hampton Classic in August. Pony rental will be required for the day of show as well as horse show expenses such as: training fee, entries, braids and pony transport.

Private and group lessons are available upon request after camp and on weekends.
